Nicholas Lampert fuses Americana landscapes with butchers' choicest cuts to create mighty
Meatscapes. These strangely captivating pieces graphically represent land use, namely cattle farming, in Lampert's home town of Wisconsin. With pieces like weiners in space, ride to sausage mountain and attention! chicken this undoubtedly bizarre collection is definitely worth a look.
Nature, say hello to butcher.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of that Russian sausage art thing.
It's a little disturbing for me. There were some ads like this, that I saw not too long ago. I wasn't sure then I wanted to get that close to meat then either.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone seen the amazing food landscapes by Carl Warner? They are even more beguiling...www,carlwarner.com
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip Anon 23:08, some interesting stuff on there. Hard to believe the food landscapes haven't been/won't be used in an ad campaign at some point.
