Merry Thanks And Happy Exciting

This will probably be the last post on the blog this year, as we all head in our different directions for the festivities this evening. So I thought I'd use it to say thanks for all your readership and support this year.

We appreciate anyone and everyone who takes the time to stop by our small corner of the world, be it in person at Sell! Towers, or via the world wide web on this blog. In the big, bad world of advertising we are a tiny upstart, a small company and very small by ad agency standards, so we always appreciate the support. Doing this blog has put us in touch with a wide range of very talented and inspirational people, and this year more than any we have been lucky enough to meet, chat and work with some great people.

2015 has been a busy year for us, and we end it on some positive notes. We have our book coming out in the new year, and a new website to accompany it, we have a lovely new account win to announce in January, and most importantly some strong work in the pipeline for the first quarter of 2016 for a couple of clients.

A special thanks has to go to the clients who put and continue to put their faith in our approach, and to the talented people who work with us to make it all happen.

I sincerely hope that 2016 is great year for you, whoever you are, and that you'll take the time to stop back here from time to time, or pop over to Sell! Towers for a cuppa.

Have a wonderful Christmas.

Sell! Towers at Christmas. Ish...

Back Joan

At Sell! Towers we're big fans of Joan Cornella and his deliciously dark illustrations. Today news comes to us from the far side of the internet that Joan is planning on making some of his surreal comic strips into animations. You can get involved and help Joan along by backing him on Kicktstarter, find out more by watching the video above and head over to his Kickstarter page here.

You've Enough On Your Plate This Christmas – Classic Ocean Spray Ad

Following on from John O'Driscoll's fantastic My Favourite Writing post, he has sent over a full-colour version of the Ocean Spray ad so you can see it in full delicious technicolor. This was kindly provided by Dave Dye (I'm sure you already read Dave's blog Stuff From The Loft, but if by some chance you don't, it's outstanding and well worth a read).

Here's the ad. Really great art direction. Do you ever worry that art direction in advertising in general has gone backwards?
