Let's start the week with some illustration. The strong illustration of Øivind Hovland in particular. I'm a fan of his work, which has a timeless quality to it. In general I'm quite cautious about how and where to use illustration in advertising, because I find that often where I see it used, illustrative style shrouds what the image is trying to communicate. But I can imagine Øivind's work being very effective in the right context. You can see more of his work here.
