The Impossble Project

Early last year Polaroid decided to stop production of the very camera that made it famous, the instant camera. In an attempt to reposition itself as a global Consumer Electronics and Digital Imaging company they are leaving behind their Instant Film Production Company roots and closed their factories in Mexico and the Netherlands.

Now though, a group of Instant Film enthusiasts have got together in a bid to restart production and resurrect the instant camera. They call themselves The Impossible Project and have until the end of the year to get the old factory in the Netherlands up and running again. Read more here and sign up to give your support as well. There are some old pics of the factory worth looking at too.
